SIRIUS® XHS
High-Speed Data Acquisition (DAQ) System
DewesoftM is a lightweight, intuitive mobile and desktop app that expands how you interact with Dewesoft data acquisition systems. Whether you are working in the field or in the lab, it lets you review system configuration, perform calibrations, and adjust setup parameters directly from your phone, tablet, or computer.
With live data visualization, DewesoftM lets you monitor measurement signals in real time through configurable widgets inspired by the familiar DewesoftX experience. The app is available for iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, as well as for Windows, macOS, and Linux desktops.
Whether you are checking device status, adjusting configuration, or verifying an active measurement, DewesoftM makes it easy. With a single click, you can connect to one or multiple devices, access setup parameters instantly, and view live measurement data in real time.
Automatically discover all compatible devices and view each one by serial number and user-defined location for quick identification. Group devices for simultaneous connection, and connect in view-only mode when another user is already using the system.
Thanks to openDAQ compatibility, DewesoftM can connect not only to Dewesoft DAQ systems, but also to third-party devices and sensors that support openDAQ.
Get quick access to key device details, including IP address, location, active channels, current configuration, and operating mode. Instantly check whether the storing module is active, the trigger is armed, or data is being sent through CAN, XCP, or analog outputs.
Once connected, DewesoftM gives you full access to device configuration, including analog channel settings and function blocks. You can load an existing setup, refine it, or build a new one from scratch, then start device operation directly from the app.
View measured data on customizable displays with widgets such as recorders, digital and analog meters, FFT, bar indicators, LED alarms, and GNSS maps. Your layouts are saved automatically, so they remain available across sessions.
DewesoftM is available on iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, and Linux. It gives you seamless access across mobile and desktop devices. Download it today below.

DewesoftM ensures a fast and seamless connection to your data acquisition devices. With automatic device discovery, you can instantly locate all available devices on your network, while device status and live data become accessible with a single tap.
Complete list of available devices, shown with serial numbers and custom location names for easy identification.
Devices are sorted by last connected, making frequently used systems quick to access.
A built-in search function for finding devices instantly.
Ability to create device groups and connect to multiple devices at once.
Option to connect as a view-only client when someone else is already connected.
Automatic reconnection to the device when reopening the app, returning you directly to the last screen you used.
The DewesoftM app provides a clear, structured overview of the connected devices. The status screen includes:
Hardware information
IP address
Custom Device Name and Location
Active channel count
Current operation mode
Current device configuration
Active function block (if used)
Function block and device status
Storing module status, including storing settings, file name, and current state
CAN output activity
XCP output activity
Additional active outputs or modules
System & diagnostics
Access to detailed device logs and statuses for advanced diagnostics
Once connected, DewesoftM gives you full access to device configuration. You can adjust general device settings such as the global sampling rate, modify channel settings including ranges and measurement types, and configure function blocks used in your measurement workflow.
DewesoftM supports configuration of all function blocks available on the connected device.
The list of function blocks depends on the device platform, and may include:
Storing module
CAN Output
XCP Output
AO Output
Formula Math
Basic Statistic
You can add, remove, or fully configure any supported function block.
All configuration changes can be saved back to the device using the *.dms configuration format, which stores both the device setup and your custom display screens.
For faster navigation, DewesoftM includes a table view for analog channels, enabling quick scanning and editing of channel parameters.
When your configuration is ready, simply press “Start Operation” in the Status or Live screen — and your device is instantly prepared for measurement.
Create fully customized displays based on your measurement needs, using a wide range of widgets that enable dynamic, real-time data visualization. Each widget can be arranged and adjusted according to your preferences, giving you complete flexibility and adaptability. The Displays can be adapted to either Portrait or Landscape position of your mobile phone or tablet
You can create multiple custom display screens, all of which can be saved directly into the device configuration. Each time you reconnect to the same device, your predefined screens remain available and unchanged. Additionally, you can add a toolbar with system monitoring channels to keep an eye on key indicators such as CPU load or storage status during measurement.
Digital Meter: Displays real-time values including minimum, maximum, and average statistics.
Analog Meter: Shows live values in an intuitive gauge-style format for quick visual assessment.
Recorder Graph: Offers pause, zoom-in, zoom-out, and multi-axis support for detailed waveform and trend visualization.
FFT Widget: Transforms any scalar channel into the frequency domain for spectral analysis.
Bar Widget: Displays data as bar indicators for easy comparative visualization.
Button: Execute operations directly from the live view (Start operation)
LED Light Widget: Provides visual alarm indicators with optional sound output for immediate feedback.
Map Widget: Delivers smooth zooming and orientation adjustments for GNSS-based spatial visualization.
During field testing, engineers must verify that every sensor is properly configured before the test sequence begins — from strain gauges and accelerometers to temperature and other measurement channels. Performing this verification in the field — around vehicles, machinery, agricultural equipment, or aircraft — can be inconvenient with a laptop, which is where DewesoftM shines.
The engineer connects to the system directly from a tablet. DewesoftM automatically discovers the device and displays all active channels with live values, making it easy to confirm correct wiring, check sensor polarity, balance strain gauges, apply filters, and verify scaling.
Using recorder and FFT widgets, the engineer can perform quick functional checks such as actuator movements or vibration signatures in real time.
In just a few minutes, the full sensor suite is validated and ready, without moving equipment or setting up a PC workstation at the test site..
During track testing, the driver or engineer can monitor key live data directly from the DewesoftM app without needing a laptop. With the OBSIDIAN device installed in the vehicle, DewesoftM displays speed, GNSS position on the map widget, and any calculated performance metrics in real time.
The driver can also check whether the GNSS system is properly set up — including satellite visibility and signal quality — to ensure accurate GPS-based measurements throughout the run.
While completing laps, the user can quickly glance at the mobile device to verify system status, confirm correct sensor behavior, and ensure the measurement is running as expected. If necessary, the test can be paused, adjusted, and restarted directly from the app.
DewesoftM provides lightweight, real-time insight during vehicle testing, giving both the driver and the engineer instant feedback while on track.
