Our cameras offer a great price-performance ratio. Superb image quality is coupled with high frame rates at a reasonable price tag.

High-speed Video

Cameras offer quality high-speed video with a maximum resolution of 2048 × 1536 px at 37 FPS. Higher frame rates up to 6400 FPS are achieved by lowering the image resolution.

Multiple Synchronised Cameras

Multiple cameras can be connected via standard network switches and synchronized together. The number of cameras is only limited by a network data bandwidth.

Synchronized to Analog Data

Cameras can be synchronized to our analog data acquisition devices. Video and sampled analog data will be synchronized with great precision.

Long Cable Length

Video data is transferred via the "handshake" method and there is virtually no data loss. Quality video can be sent over cable with up to 100m or more if additional network repeaters are used.

IP65 Degree of Protection

Cameras are built in a dust-proof casing and are rated with IP65 degree of environmental protection. Cameras are ready for video acquisition applications in harsh environments.

Standard C-lens Adapter Compatibility

DS-CAM cameras are equipped with a standard C-type lens mount supported by many lens manufacturers providing a large pool of options in different price ranges.

DirectXCameras Support

DS-CAM Cameras
Synchronized Video Data Acquisition

For applications requiring video which is synchronized to the dynamic sampling rate of analog data, we offer DS-CAM cameras. 

The DS-CAM-640c color camera is capable of video recording at a high resolution of 2048 x 1536 px and 12bit pixel quality with 39fps. A higher frame rate of 640fps is possible at 640×480px while the maximum frame rate of 5000fps can be achieved at 1920x16px.

The monochrome DS-CAM-1100m camera can produce 45 frames per second at its highest resolution of 1920 x 1464px with 12bit pixel quality. At VGA resolution of 640x480px it is capable of 640fps, with a maximum frame rate of 6000fps at 1920x16px.

All Dewesoft DS-CAM cameras are designed in a rugged chassis. With the help of DS-CAM-IP65-COVER, an IP65 rating is achieved that will fully prevent the ingress of dust and protect against light rain.

The camera operating temperature is rated from 0°C to 60°C.

PTP Synchronization Ready
Connect Multiple Cameras With Perfect Synchronization

DS-CAM cameras utilize standard RJ45 ethernet cable connection directly to a PC or network switch in case of multiple cameras. 

PTP synchronization enables a simple yet effective method of extreme synchronization accuracy between multiple connected cameras and the new generation of Dewesoft DAQ devices. DS-CAM-640c and DS-CAM-1100m are PTP ready, while software support for PTP synchronization in DewesoftX is not yet available but will be added in the future.

DirectX Cameras
Add Low-Cost Video

If a picture is worth a thousand words, how much is the video worth? DewesoftX software allows connecting low-cost DirectX video cameras. All off-the-shelf DirectX cameras are supported enabling adding super affordable video acquisition to your measurement applications.

The video will be software synchronized with other data sources like analog or digital data down to ~10ms accuracy. This is a great way to add an affordable video to your measurements and data acquisition systems.

Infrared Cameras
OPTRIS Thermal Cameras Support

DewesoftX software also offers options to connect infrared thermal cameras from French manufacturer OPTRIS.

Video from OPTRIS cameras is software synchronized with analog and other data sources down to ~100 ms accuracy.

Smart visual control for OPTRIS video allows for easy calibration and temperature reading simply by pointing a mouse cursor or taping with a finger over the camera screen.

For the ultra-high-speed video, Dewesoft directly supports an interface to high-speed cameras from Photron. Photron high-speed cameras offer the highest possible frame rates from a few thousand frames per second up to millions of frames per second at various resolutions.

Photron cameras are supported via the Photron plugin which integrates cameras perfectly to the Dewesodt data acquisition system. Cameras offer triggered storing options on an internal or external trigger. The Photron video is perfectly synchronized with analog or digital data acquired with our data acquisition systems.
