Luka Jerman

    Head of Automotive Applications Group

    Born in 1990 in Celje, Luka completed his secondary education at Grammar School Celje-Center before pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Maribor. Throughout his undergraduate and graduate studies, he actively participated in a revitalized Formula Student project, he worked on vehicle dynamics simulation and testing, composite part design and structural analysis. In 2012 Dewesoft started to sponsor the project. He first gained experience working with DEWESoft 7 and was impressed that something like this was developed so close by. 

    After completing his studies he joined Dewesoft in 2015 as an automotive application engineer. He got more involved in programming with the work on the Vehicle Dynamics plugin and soon transitioned into a role of a Software Engineer. He developed and maintained many different automotive products but was mainly responsible for the GPS module, DS-IMU, Brake noise and Polygon.

    In 2020 he transitioned into the role of Team Leader of an Automotive application department. His main responsibilities are to guide the development of automotive products and to organize and help automotive application engineers when they support our customers or our international sales teams.
