Automating Resistivity Measurement Using the Four-Point Probe Method
Students at the FEMTO-ST Institute automated the four-point probe method to measure thin-film resistivity more precisely and efficiently. Using a Keithley Source Measure Unit, MonoDAQ hardware, DewesoftX software, and Python scripting, they replaced a slow manual process with a fully automated system. The setup enables faster, repeatable, and highly accurate resistivity testing for micro- and nanoscale materials research.
