Experimental Modal Analysis of a Simply Supported Aluminum Beam
Students at the University of Valladolid conducted Experimental Modal Analysis on a simply supported aluminum beam to study its vibration behavior. Using Dewesoft’s DEWE-43A DAQ and DewesoftX software, they identified natural frequencies and vibration modes at 2.96, 11.69, and 25.86 Hz. The experiment demonstrated how precise data acquisition enhances structural dynamic analysis for safer, more efficient engineering designs.
