Dewesoft, a leading provider of high-end data acquisition systems (DAQ), today announced the launch of its low-cost, high performance, totally distributed, and easy to use solution to conquer the Machine Condition Monitoring market.
The solution suits applications such as permanent condition monitoring of gearboxes, fans, motors, blowers and any other rotating machinery in automotive, mining, pulp, paper, iron, steel, chemical, cement, oil and gas, facility management and power production. This cost-effective solution enables production facility owners to start permanent monitoring of critical equipment with high ROI. This new solution is composed of Dewesoft IOLITEd-2xASI, a device with two analog sensor interface channels and one tacho, Dewesoft ASI-1xVIB-50g, a 10 kHz vibration, and temperature sensor, and Dewesoft easy to use Machine Condition Monitoring software.

IOLITEd-2xASI data acquisition device
The Dewesoft IOLITEd-2xASI is a data acquisition device with two analog sensor interface channels and one tacho channel. It converts the signal from Dewesoft ASI-1xVIB-50g sensors and sends the data over the EtherCAT bus to the master PC. Up to two ACC-SNS sensors with M8 connectors can be connected.
The maximum sample rate is 40 kS/s per channel. Only a single network cable is needed to daisy chain multiple IOLITEd-2xASI devices with up to 50 m device-device distance. The module is available in IP20 or IP67 version to assure protection against water, dust, and other elements.
ASI-1xVIB-50g vibration and temperature sensor
The Dewesoft ASI-1xVIB-50g is a vibration and temperature measurement probe. Packaged in a small aluminum housing. It consists of two sensors: a single axis accelerometer with 0-10 kHz bandwidth and analog voltage output, and a temperature sensor with an I2C interface. The probe is rated with IP67 ingress protection and -20 to +85 °C temperature range.
Machine condition monitoring software
The Dewesoft machine condition monitoring software is unique on the market. It combines in-depth machine condition analysis features, relevant for PDM expert engineers, including:

Historical data can be permanently stored on a local or cloud server and can be used for trends as well as for later in-depth analysis and root cause identification. Connectivity to any 3rd party control system is straightforward using the OPC/UA protocol. Data can be accessed from the client’s local computer, control system, or remotely via the pre-configured web browser application. To save maintenance engineers time, thresholds, alarming and reporting functionalities are available within a single click.
