Process Technologist for Development/Production of Electronic Devices (m/f)

Since our systems measure the mechanical response of structures during their use, and thereby help assess their safety, their continuous, reliable and correct operation is extremely important for the end user and the wider public. That’s why we are looking for a technical person with an enthusiasm for details that most people don’t care about, but that mean a great deal to us and our customers.

Tasks include:

• Reliable and fast transfer of the product from development to production

• preparing and maintaining bills of materials (BOMs) and assembly instructions in cooperation with the development team

• understanding complex bills of materials, composed of individual components (with different versions) and sub-assemblies (which have their own bills of materials)

• good orientation among numerous product variants, where the differences between them are small but important

• finding alternatives and quick solutions in case of poor component availability

• consistently monitoring the production process and resolving issues with systemic solutions (corrections to BOMs, drawings or processes)

• understanding

Important skills and qualities:

• Confident and fast computer use, especially with the internal ERP system

• understanding of electrical schematics and mechanical drawings

• high reliability and consistency in completed tasks

• communicativeness and openness

• good knowledge of English (written and spoken)

Desired experience and education:

• technical education

• 5 years of work experience

The selected candidate will receive appropriate training and education to perform the tasks described above.
