High-Current Power Laboratory Engineer / Researcher (m/f)

What You Will Do:

1. Laboratory Testing & Accreditation

  • Implement ISO/IEC 17025 quality system for laboratory accreditation 

  • Establish full measurement traceability and documentation protocols 

  • Develop hardware test setups for DC-CT sensor validation 

2. Device Testing & Validation

  • Perform hands-on testing of current sensors up to 3000 A 

  • Design and build hardware test fixtures and measurement systems 

  • Validate sensor performance against 100ppm to 0.1% accuracy requirements 

3. Standards & Procedure Development

  • Apply current-sensing standards

  • Create automated test procedures using Python/Jupyter 

  • Maintain calibration systems and measurement uncertainty analysis 


What We're Looking For:

  • Electronics engineering background (could be a student) 

  • Experience with hardware testing and measurement systems 

  • Proficiency in Python/Jupyter for test automation 

  • Knowledge of laboratory accreditation processes 

  • Systematic, quality-focused approach


Nice to Have:

  • Experience with high-current testing or power electronics 

  • Familiarity with sensor calibration and metrology
