Head of Operations (m/f)

DEWESoft RealTime is developing and launching new product lines into the market of industrial control and specialized measurement and control systems. We are seeking an ambitious Head of Operations with a technical knack and strong organizational skills to take on a key role in operational management, process optimization, and bridging the business and technical sides of the organization.

This is a strategic-operational role for someone who understands both business operations and technological execution, with self-initiative as a core requirement. Education in both technical and business fields is required, though relevant work experience can substitute for formal education in one of the two areas.

Key Responsibilities

Business

• Communication with the global sales network

• Communication with back-office services

• Reporting and other operations required for proper business functioning

• Business support

• Management of the internal business system

Technical

• Participation in preparing the technical strategy

• Participation in preparing products for sale, certifications, etc.

• Organization of customer support activities

Organizational

• Organization of work processes, leave schedules, and attendance

• Organization of trade show appearances and other promotional activities

• Organization of team-building events and other employee activities

• Organization of business travel

• Project management of activities

• Management of the Operations (OPS) team (2–3 people)

Operational

• Organization of occupational health and safety checkups

• Transport and shipping

Compliance

• Ensuring business operations compliance

Required education:

• Masters degree in a business or technical field

• At least 5 years of experience
