Primož Rome je študiral računalništvo na Univerzi v Ljubljani. Svojo poklicno pot je začel kot razvijalec programske opreme v podjetju Hermes Softlab, kjer je sodeloval pri različnih projektih za slovenske in tuje banke. Dragocene mednarodne izkušnje je pridobil tudi kot razvijalec nadzorne programske opreme v podjetju SEZ Semiconductors (Avstrija), kjer je na kraju samem zagotavljal razvojno podporo podjetjem za polprevodnike, kot so Toshiba, Samsung, TSMC in Texas Instruments.
Primož Rome se je družbi Dewesoft pridružil leta 2008 kot inženir programske opreme. Imel je ključno vlogo pri razvoju prototipa uporabniškega vmesnika naslednje generacije (UIX) za programsko opremo Dewesoft 7. Prototip, pri katerem je Primož delal, je pozneje postal glavni uporabniški vmesnik za sedanjo programsko opremo DewesoftX. Po delu na področju razvoja programske opreme se je Primož osredotočil na prodajne in marketinške dejavnosti v podjetju Dewesoft. Oblikoval je prvo marketinško gradivo podjetja, tako v digitalni kot v tiskani obliki, ki je pomembno prispevalo k trženjskim prizadevanjem podjetja.
Primož je trenutno vodja področja LATAM, kjer skrbi za razvoj poslovanja v latinskoameriški regiji. Njegova prizadevanja so privedla do ustanovitve dveh hčerinskih družb družbe Dewesoft: Dewesoft Brazilija in Dewesoft Mehika. Primož je odgovoren tudi za dejavnosti globalnega digitalnega trženja podjetja.
Primož zunaj službe uživa v smučanju v prostem slogu, turnem smučanju in alpinizmu ter strastno raziskuje naravo.
