Universal Strain Gage Amplifier

The IOLITEr-6xSTG is a 6-channel strain gauge amplifier and universal analog input. The module offers support for all bridge-type sensors with a 20 kHz/s sampling rate per channel.

  • 24-bit 24-bit SAR ADC with an anti-aliasing filter.
  • Simultaneous 20 kS/sec per channel (software-selectable).

Universal Strain Gage Amplifier

IOLITE-8xSTGS is an 8-channel strain gauge module that supports full, half, and quarter bridge configurations as well as potentiometer mode. The module features long-term stability and low power consumption.

Main highlights:

  • Predefined bridge ranges are 2 mV/V, 20 mV/V, 200 mV/V (free programmable between 2 mV/V and 1000 mV/V).
  • User-selectable excitation voltage of 1 V, 2 V, or 5 V.
  • New 24-bit oversampled sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter which features an option for low latency Sinc5 filter - perfect solution for control applications.
  • Software selectable internal 100 kΩ shunt resistor which can be used in the positive or negative leg.

8-Channel Isolated Low Voltage Module

Isolated 8-channel low voltage module. IOLITEi-8xLV is the perfect choice for a general-purpose voltage input data acquisition due to high accuracy and high channel-to-channel and channel-to-ground galvanic isolation.

Main highlights of IOLITEi-8xLV DAQ module:

  • 24-bit oversampled SAR ADC.

IOLITE-16xAO
Analog Output Module

IOLITE-16xAO is a 16-channel Analog Output module designed for industrial applications. It is a perfect tool for signal conditioning.

The module offers 16 analog voltage output channels in the range of ±10 V. Outputs are galvanically isolated from the main power supply ground.

Additionally, non-isolated supply voltage with a current limit of 2 A can be used from PWR OUT pins.

The input connector of IOLITE-16xAO is a terminal block OMNIMATE Signal SL Series. The IOLITE-16xAO module has 9-pin terminal block connectors with a 2.50 mm pitch for analog output. 8 pins on a 9-pin connector bank are used for digital inputs and pin 9 for common GND.

Additionally, there is a 2-pin terminal block connector with a 2.50 mm pitch for the PWR OUT function.

Additionally, non-isolated supply voltage with a current limit of 2 A can be used from PWR OUT pins.

The input connector of IOLITEr-8xDI-4xDO is a terminal block OMNIMATE Signal SL Series.

IOLITEr-8xDI-4xDO is your choice for more demanding industrial applications such as valve control, with a maximum sink current of 0.5 A and maximum switching voltage of 50 V.

IOLITE-4xCNT
Digital Counter DAQ Module

IOLITEr-4xCNT is a 4-channel counter module. Each channel is capable of 3x digital inputs, 1x event counter, encoder, period, pulse-width, duty-cycle, and precise frequency and angle measurement using patented SuperCounter® technology

Supported counter modes are counting, waveform timing, encoder, and gear-tooth sensor. IOLITEr-4xCNT also offers a sensor power supply (+5 V/100 mA, +12 V/50 mA).

The input connector is a Lemo 1B 7-pin or optionally terminal block input connector.

Counter inputs are a perfect choice for applications like balancing, order tracking, and torsional vibrations.

Multi-channel Module Amplifiers

DIN Rail Mounting

IOLITEd multi-channel modules are fully compatible with the DIN rail mount. Chassis offers an easy clip-in mechanism for mounting to all standard industrial DIN rail mounts.

IOLITEd single-channel modules are small and can be placed next to your measurement points. They offer screw holes for easy mounting with screws or any other method.

  • 1xACC: Single channel voltage and IEPE input module.
  • 1xSTG: Universal analog and strain gauge amplifier. Compatible with Dewesoft smart interface DSI adapters for expansion to Thermocouple, RTD, LVDT, current, and IEPE measurements.
  • 4xDI: 4 channel digital input module.
  • 4xDO: 4 channel digital output module.
  • 1xAO: Single channel analog voltage output module.
  • 3xMEMS-ACC: DAQ module with fully integrated low-noise triaxial MEMS accelerometer for structural monitoring.
  • 3xMEMS-ACC-INC: an inclinometer version of 3xMEMS-ACC. In addition to triaxial acceleration, it includes temperature compensation to precisely measuring static inclination.

IOLITEd Single Channel DAQ Modules

Low-noise Triaxial MEMS Accelerometer

IOLITEdi 3x-MEMS-ACC and 3xMEMS-ACC-INC devices are dedicated devices with fully integrated low-noise triaxial MEMS accelerometer.

Devices are designed for a tailor-made structural health monitoring solution and thus ideal for permanent condition monitoring on big structures such as bridges, buildings, antennas, and stadiums.

With only 25 µg/√Hz spectral noise density and 100 µg residual noise at 50 Hz bandwidth the devices are a cost-effective solution for seismic measurements. The FFT recorder below shows the residual noise of the three axes at the sample rate of 100 S/s.

Even though the devices measure acceleration, they can also be used to precisely measure displacement by integrating the acceleration twice and applying appropriate filtering. The task is straightforward in DewesoftX data acquisition software and only requires you to check the displacement measurement option.

The IOLITEd-2xASI is an integrated distributed DAQ device with two analog sensor interface channels and one tacho specifically designed to work with Dewesoft ASI-1xVIB-50g, a 10 kHz vibration, and temperature sensor.

It is specifically designed and dedicated to the Machine Condition Monitoring solution. The IOLITEd-2xASI device works together with ASI vibration and temperature sensor:

  • IOLITEd-2xASI: data acquisition device with 2 analog input channels (with 40 kS/s sampling speed per channel) for interfacing 2 Dewesoft ASI-1xVIB-50g vibration probes and 1 digital input channel for connecting an RPM sensor (tacho).
